How does the Community Solar Referral Program work?
Refer a friend to Altus Community Solar and you'll both get a $50 digital Visa gift card. This article explains how to get your referral link, how to share it, and when your reward arrives.
Get your referral link
- Go to the referral program form.
- Enter your first name and email address. If you already have a Community Solar account, use the same email address associated with that account.
- Read and agree to the Terms & Conditions.
- Click Get Referral Link.
You'll receive a referral link that's unique to you.
Share your link
Copy your link and share it with friends and family by text, email, or social media (for example, Facebook). Anyone who signs up as a first-time Community Solar customer through your link is connected to you in our system.
What your friend needs to do
When someone clicks your referral link, they'll enter their name and email address and then begin the Community Solar application.
They do not need to enter a referral code. Using your link automatically connects them to your account.
When you'll get your reward
You and your friend each receive a $50 digital Visa gift card once your friend's application is accepted and their account is activated. Both of you are notified by email when this happens.
Activation timelines vary depending on your friend's local utility provider and the status of the solar project they're assigned to. The reward is only issued after your friend is fully enrolled with an active account.
How many people can I refer?
There's no limit. Every first-time customer who enrolls through your link earns a $50 gift card for both of you. For example, 8 sign-ups means 8 gift cards for your referrals and $400 in gift cards for you.

Gift cards are issued through a service called Tremendous. For help activating or using your Visa gift card, contact the Tremendous support team directly at help@tremendous.com.
