How much money am I saving with Community Solar?

With Altus Power’s Community Solar, you are guaranteed a fixed discount between 5-20% on the solar credits generated by your subscription. The discount you receive depends on your state and utility provider.

The size of the solar credit you receive depends on the amount of clean energy generated by the solar farm you are subscribed to. The solar credits you receive each month appear as a deduction on your electricity bill and significantly reduce the amount you owe your utility company.

If you’re an Altus Power subscriber on Standard Dual Billing, we’ll bill you for those credits — at your discounted rate — which saves you money overall. If you’re an Altus Power subscriber on Utility Consolidated Billing, you will not receive a separate bill from us. Your adjusted final savings will appear as a deduction on your electricity bill.
